The property is situated 45 miles south of Caen , making it conveniently placed for most channel ports.   There is easy access to places of interest such as the Normandy Landing Beaches , Bayeux with its famous Tapestry,  the seaside towns of Deauville and Trouville ,  the picturesque port of Honfleur and a little farther afield the magnificent Le Mont St. Michel, the port of St Malo and the fishing port of Cancale, famous for its oysters.    Paris is only a two hour train ride away,   making an interesting day out.
